Field Support Day and Topshell Turvy!

Join us as we search the shore topshells! Topshells are a common group of sea snail found on rocky shores in the UK. They can be found at low, mid and high shore grazing on algae. Different species of topshells breed at different times of the year, with temperature acting as an important cue in the timing of their reproduction. We want to find out whether timing differs across the UK and how warming waters may affect this.

If you would like to attend this field support day/topshell turvy please let the team know so that we can provide you with specific details about the day such as times and where to meet. Email cocoast@hull.ac.uk or call 07496 477417.
